Really Good Fish Tacos
We ate here a while back and that was our take on our visit.
Good corn tortillas filled with a lot of fish and condiments on the side of cabbage, cilantro, tomato, lime, rice and beans and some good avocado....all with some spicy green sauce brought out.......really good.
Chips and red and green sauces were okay.
Atmosphere was just okay.
The Fish Tacos the time we went were awesome. -

If you are wanting good Mexican food in Longview, you might want to pass on this place.
Went there for the lunch hour on a weekday and we were seated immediately, so initial service is good. Drinks, chips and salsa were delivered promptly. The red salsa in this place is pretty good. Does not have a ketchup taste like a lot of other places, and is actually spicy. Also, the green salsa, which is a more creamy type of salsa was also very good.
The chips and salsa is about where it ends in terms of things that are good to eat here. I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga. It was very crispy, but inside, zero flavor. The rice was hard and again, no spices or flavor and I did not finish them. The refried beans were o.k., but it was obvious they were from a can. Portions were typical lunch portions, and I will say they were on the large side, which is nice.
The decor of the place is typical with most Mexican restaurants, with lots of bright colors, and Mexico inspired themes. It is just disappointing that the food lacked flavor. I mean, Mexican food, be it Tex-Mex, or Authentic, is supposed to have some spices. None of that was present.
Do not recommend. Checkout my other reviews on good Mexican Food and go with that. -

We tried Little Mexico and LOVED it. We were in love with all three salsas before we even had a chance to order. Food was great, prices were very reasonable and waitress was super. I think we'll be back.

The location on the Loop across from The Longview Mall. Service lacked attention. Food was ok.
